Bowling Center in Germany are more restaurants than gym. In Italy the situation is somewhat reversed. Here the same casinos and bowling alleys rather have little to do with sports facilities. Nevertheless, these institutions now have something in common in both countries, which I welcome even as a smoker. In Germany they played at last smoke-free! In Italy, this works very well for years.
