Catchy Title For Paper Towel Science Project

Creativity First: Do it yourself "Flying Ego Cam" Take your

A few months ago, I privately experimented a bit with camera effects and always wanted to know, and try or how to implement a "Flying Cam ego" itself.

how this will result in the following video you can see what I shot for one of my personal songs. I think it clarified very well what I want out.

After I showed the video to my friends, were very many questions as I've been doing. Therefore, the decision to publish my nocturnal ideas. Maybe there's someone feels inspired by implementing their own constructs.

Who wants to know how this effect - with few resources - but can easily and quickly be implemented, may simply read on. : D
Basically it is ultra-simple. My requirements for the design were:
  • largely independent from the upper body with
  • "Commercial" means feasible
  • simple, transportable and reproducible construction
  • should have both hands free solution
All I end up with
  • a snap hook
  • a microphone stand
  • a ball-adapter microphone on camera threads ('s on Thomann)
That's it.
Because pictures speak louder than words, here are some impressions. And yes, the design is shaky and you need a little practice to guide her back the balance of the camera, but the result speaks for itself! I think.

The clasp on the belt. From the tripod microphone stand off.

A free-floating camera in 5 minutes. Cost point for me: 0

Have you sometimes crazy ideas. Whether video, audio or text? Did you this blog post, perhaps inspired to try their own things? Share it with the world. Be inspired. You will be thankful. I, for one. Until next time will

Then I walk around it a little bit on the road. 'm Looking forward to the attention of passers : D
